We're over the moon to share that Labl.it has won the Innovator of the Year Award at #VFS22 - Venturefest South's annual Festival of Innovation.
Around 1,000 visitors attended the region's biggest innovation showcase at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton, with innovators, start-ups and small businesses given a platform at an event where over £1 billion of opportunities were on offer from VFS partners through support, funding and investment. Over 50 innovators entered the £10,000 Battle of the Pitches competition, and the standard across the board was seriously impressive.
The Innovator of the Year award went to Labl.it, and we're still a little pinch-ourselves about it.
Who are we?
Labl.it is the all-in-one food label printer built for commercial kitchens. Our device aims to replace the industry-standard handwritten paper labels, making stock control in the hospitality industry quicker, more sustainable, and safer. What this means to us
Venturefest South exists to connect and celebrate the South's most ambitious innovators - and being named the best among them this year is something we won't forget in a hurry. Since the award, we've continued to grow our product offering, and this recognition has only motivated us to push further.
